Privacy & Cookie Notice

This notice explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It applies to the True Renovations website. This is a reviewable starting point — it is not legal advice.

Who we are

We are True Renovations. If you have any questions about this notice or about how we handle your personal data, please contact us at info@truerenovations.co.uk.

Functional cookies

To remember your language preference, the site sets a first-party cookie called NEXT_LOCALE. This cookie is set when you navigate the site or manually choose a language. It contains no tracking or personal data and is stored for up to a year.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are visited most and how people navigate between them. No analytics data is collected or sent to Google until you click Accept on the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which means the analytics script loads in a restricted state by default and only activates after you give consent. A cookie named tr_consent stores your choice. You can withdraw consent at any time using the banner or by clearing your cookies.

Contact form

Our contact form is processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party service. When you submit an enquiry, your name, email address, and message are transmitted to Formspree and forwarded to us by email. Formspree's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data. We retain your message only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry.

Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by using the cookie banner at the bottom of the page. You can also clear your browser cookies to remove any consent record, which will reset the banner on your next visit. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before you withdrew it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
